About Brad Rosley, CFP®

I started Fortune Financial Group (FFG) the day after my wife, Soni and I moved to Glen Ellyn from Lincoln Park, Chicago in November 1996. I grew up in Arlington Heights and graduated from the University of Iowa in 1986 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. Soon after college I decided I wanted to go into the financial planning profession. I earned my Certified Financial Planner designation in 1990. After working with a family owned financial services business for six years I decided to venture out and create FFG. I was inspired to create a truly “independent” firm that helps people figure out what they want to do with the one life God gave them. I think my clients like me in part because of my balanced approached to financial and life planning. They stay with me because we develops a relationship that is not product driven, but rather personal and life planning centric. My motto “Plan for tomorrow, while still living for today” is especially appealing to clients. I’ve been a contributor to my field in many ways. I’ve contributed articles and been a resource to many publications over the years. I blog and post Youtube videos as a means to educate my client’s and the public. I penned my first book, “Brad Rosley on Educated Investing” published in 2001. I’m also a former President and Chairman of the Board the Financial Planning Association of Illinois (FPA®). When I not doing work related activities, you can find me golfing, fishing or playing lunch time basketball. I have a wonderful wife and three teenagers that keep my busy.
